THE ITALIAN COHORT
An online community of like-minded believers that love God, Italy, Italians, and the church of Jesus Christ.
We warmly invite you to join us on the inside for a more personal view of the mission work in the country of Italy. This is a great way for you to be personally involved in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (something all Christians naturally ought to desire, but not all have a tangible way to do). In addition to getting all our content and updates before anyone else, you will also see content that no one else sees and you will get encouragement to live fully for the Lord in your daily context, wherever you are.
What is Discord?
Discord is an online app/platform that works wonderfully for teams and groups to communicate, share, and keep in touch. (previously, we were on Slack but they changed their policy and now all messages older than 90 days are deleted).
To join us in our private Discord community, all you need is an email address and a smartphone or computer. The app is FREE and so is your access to the group. Inside the community, we have rooms (called channels) for particular discussions: Everyday Italian life, Encouragement from the Word, Missions Academia, M.I. Podcast, Italy News Updates, Prayer Requests & Praises, Italy Church Plants, Deals, Events, Serve, Italian Cuisine, Italian Homeschool, Italian Language, etc...
Unlike social media platforms, here you will not be bombarded with more information and content than you desire. You can enter whenever you want and see the latest conversations. You can remain silent, or you can jump on in and leave comments of your own.
