The heart of of PMc
1. Spirit-filled: regenerate, new nature, new creature, Holy Spirit-enabled and dependent
2. Christ-centered: motivated by the gospel, living according to the gospel, proclaiming the gospel
3. Single-minded focus: like Jesus driven to His cross, so we drive ourselves to the singular task of the edification of new church bodies in Italy
A cohort existing for the single task of edifying church bodies in Italy where they currently don't exist.
PMc Mission Statement
Practical Missions cohort exists for God’s glory by involving ordinary Christians from all walks of life in the extraordinary call of Jesus Christ to proclaim the gospel in Word and deed, make disciples and plant churches in Italy. We do this by recruiting both short-term and long-term missionaries and then training them on-field via the PMc Academia - an on-the-go training program, in the ‘piazza’, not in the classroom. We train missionaries to the single-minded focus of church planting in postmodern culture with practical and proven methods that every Christian can learn and live out within the context of a biblical view of God, humanity and His plan for salvation.
PMc Vision Statement
Our vision is to realize a network of churches and individual supporters actively partnered with Practical Missions cohort church-planting missionaries in Italy to reach the lost, make disciples, train Italian pastors and establish a network of Italian churches that spread across North and Central Italy. From the network of American churches and partners, we create opportunities for them to serve on the mission field of Italy and we offer hands-on missionary training to the unique work of missionary church planting.
The marks of the reformation from the 1500's are also what marks our mission. We're still praying that this reformation begins here in Italy; here things are 500 years behind in regards to Christianity.
Soli Deo Gloria
PMc is a nondenominational nonprofit mission association founded in Biblical Christianity
with a focus exclusively in Italy.
II Corinthians 6: 3-10
We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry, 4but as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: by great endurance, in afflictions, hardships, calamities, 5beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless nights, hunger; 6by purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit, genuine love; 7by truthful speech, and the power of God; with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and for the left; 8through honor and dishonor, through slander and praise. We are treated as impostors, and yet are true; 9as unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and behold, we live; as punished, and yet not killed; 10as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, yet possessing everything.
